About the role

Respo.Vision is on the lookout for a motivated Machine Learning / Deep Learning Intern with a strong interest in applying ML/DL models to real-world problems. This internship is an exceptional opportunity to dive into the development, optimization, and deployment of our state-of-the-art data acquisition and processing system, which captures 3D data from sports events using a monocular video feed.

In this role, you'll work closely with our seasoned ML/DL engineers, contributing to the enhancement of machine learning models and the overall system. You'll have the chance to gain valuable experience in ML/DL development processes, including model design, training, optimization, and implementation. Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Assist in designing, developing, refining and deploying ML/DL models within our system.
  • Work on testing and optimizing ML models for improved performance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new features and functionalities.
  • Support in maintaining a streamlined and effective workflow for ML/DL model integration and deployment.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate (preferably 2nd or 3rd year) or graduate program in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, with a focus on Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
  • Basic proficiency with Linux.
  • Strong familiarity with Python and its scientific stack (numpy, pandas).
  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of ML/DL models and algorithms.
  • Eagerness to work with cloud environments (GCP) and Docker.
  • Fluent in Polish and have a good command of English.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with PyTorch / TensorFlow (we use PyTorch)
  • Practical experience with ML/DL projects or competitions (e.g. Kaggle).
  • Practical experience in Computer Vision projects or competitions.
  • Enthusiasm for applying ML/DL to solve challenges in the sports domain.
